We are booking a tour down to SXSW in Austin (March 18-21, 2010). We plan on putting out a live album from a show at the Sunset Tavern in the next few months to promote on our way down.

—We are currently tracking album #4 at Haywire Studios in Portland, OR with audio wizard Rob Bartleson (Wilco, Pink Martini, Pond, 30.06, etc.). I will try to post a rough mix sometime in the next 2 mos. This European-written underground masterpiece should be out the beginning of 2008.

—Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Mars Bar: Halloween MISFITS cover night with a bunch of other bands. “20 Eyes in my head… They’re all the same, They’re all the same…” Richie will be singing and leading most of these tunes. At the Spine have officially released our 3rd LP titled Sonic Resistance today, May 1, 2007 (International Workers Day for those of you who care about workers…).

It is now available for purchase online at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/atthespine3 and in the Seattle area at Sonic Boom, Everyday Music, Cellophane Square, and soon Easy Street records. (Digital distro will take a few more days…).

We have apparently already received enough airplay in last week to hit number 16 on the local charts at Rainydawg Radio at the UW and number 59 at KEXP for last week.

If you are so inclined we would greatly appreciate some polite email and phone call requests to KEXP at: 206.903.KEXP or dj@kexp.org to try to get this on the air a bit more. (Also your local college/independent station as we have sent 350 albums out to national radio and press in the last few weeks).
